Many customers have always asked me what the difference between the two is, and the saying “a picture tells a thousand words” couldn’t be more relevant here. Or rather, a video in this case.

Usually, I’m firing my own laptop up in front of the customer and showing them the obvious speed difference, to which they’re always in awe of.

But some people are more inquisitive and do ask – how? What’s the difference? And, also when I tell them that SSDs cost more than hard drives by a fair margin, they ask – why?
