What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact Forms
We may collect the following information when you contact us via our Contact/Enquiry form, and when we invoice you for a business transaction with us as a customer or client:
- First name and surname
- Contact information, most notably your telephone number and email address
- Your residential or business address
If you become a customer or client, this data will be kept within our internal accounting records for the purpose of acknowledging your status as our customer/client. This data will be kept for a minimum of 10 years from your last business transaction with us. We will only use this data for internal record keeping (to simplify the process of invoicing you for future transactions) and also to keep in touch with you regarding current or past business transactions between us, for example, if we need to contact you regarding a repair you have with us at the moment, or a repair we carried out for you a short while ago. Also, we may use this data to contact you regarding our services from time to time, especially any new services that may be related to your current or previous transactions with us.
We will not pass this information to any third party for the purposes of advertising.
If you don’t become a customer or client and do not enter into any kind of business transaction with us, the above data from your initial contact/enquiry with us will remain on our secure email server for a maximum of 6 months. We delete and purge old email data regularly so if a period of 6 months has elapsed since your contact, your data will have already been removed from our email server. We will not use this data to contact you in the future regarding our services or for advertising purposes i.e. as a potential lead. Furthermore we will not pass this data onto third parties either for any purpose. This data will not be collected or collated by us – it will simply remain on our email servers and removed/purged when convenient.
